What are the turnaround times for production at General Signs?
Our turnaround is typically fast. How quickly we can get what you need ultimately depends on the type of signs you need, the number of signs you need, if you have approved artwork ready to use, and how fast you can approve proofs/artwork we send you. Other factors include if we have the materials needed in stock, or if we have to order them in. Call or email us what you need, and when you need it and we can have it ready for you within a few days, to a couple of weeks.
What file types are best to send off for production/printing?
PDF, AI (Adobe Illustrator), and EPS files work best, because they allow for our designers to use, edit and scale the artwork if necessary. High Resolution bitmaps like JPEGs, and PNGs are acceptable. Examples of NON-USABLE file types include screenshots from your phone/computer, and low resolution bitmaps. These cannot be broken apart or edited by our design team.
Coroplast, or corrugated plastic is great for short term, interior use, compared to Di-bond, (aluminum with plastic core) which is great for long term, outdoor use. Coroplast is cheaper than Di-bond, but isn’t laminated, and doesn’t offer any kind of UV protection.
Do you offer installation services?
Yes! We offer installation for outdoor/indoor signage, to in-house decal installation and vehicle wraps.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, most credit cards, and cheques.
